Cooking and Style: Macaron Piping Tutorial

Hello,

In yesterday's post - see here, I mentioned that I was having a cocktail party and featuring yellow macarons with a passion fruit butter. 

So today I am going to mix it up and actually do a demonstration for you with a video tutorial  - see below, on how to do some piping of butter cream on your macaron!! You can also get my macaron recipe here -

Butter Cream Recipe:

100g unsalted softened butter
150g icing mixture
3-4 passion fruits

Method:

In a mix master, beat the softened butter till smooth. Add the icing sugar and mix for about 3 minutes till combined. Add the pulp of the passion fruit and continue mixing till soft and smooth. Where required add extra icing sugar if the mixture seems wet.
